The "Need it doing?" way: Our simple terms of business
We like to keep things straightforward. When you accept a quote from Need it doing? Ltd, we’re here to help get your home or office back into the order you want. Here is how we play fair:
1. Quotes, Kits, and Quids

Fixed Prices: We love giving a fixed price so you know exactly where you stand.

The "Oh No" Clause: Sometimes, once we get stuck in, we might find a hidden surprise (like a leaky pipe behind a skirting board or a "DIY disaster" from a previous owner). If the job is significantly different from what we discussed, we reserve the right to update the price or, in rare cases, politely decline the work. We'll always have a chat with you first before doing anything extra.

Deposits: For bigger "to-do lists" or if we need to nip out and buy expensive materials, we’ll ask for a deposit. We’ll let you know the amount before we get started.
2. Clearing the Decks (Waste)

Rubbish & Refuse: We aren’t licensed waste carriers, so we can't take old bathroom suites or kitchen units away in our vans. However, we’ll neatly bag up any mess we make and are happy to pop it in your wheelie bins or commercial skips for you.

Skips: If the job is a big one that’ll generate a lot of muck, we’ll add the cost of a skip or a bag that will get collected from your property once the work is complete.
3. Getting to Work

Access: Please make sure we can get in at the agreed time! If we’re stuck on the doorstep and can’t get hold of you, we may have to charge a call-out fee to cover our lost time.

Parking: If you’re in a permit-only area or have paid parking, please help us out with a visitor's pass or cover the cost. We’d much rather spend our time on your repairs than dodging the traffic warden!
4. Peace of Mind

Insurance: For your total peace of mind, we carry £2,000,000 Public Liability Insurance. Please ask if you'd like to see the certificate.

Our Guarantee: We’re proud of our work. If there’s a niggle with our workmanship within 12 months, give us a bell and we’ll come back to make it right.
5. Payment

Homeowners: Please be ready to settle the bill via bank transfer or card as soon as the job is finished. We offer payment via multiple methods including finance provided by Klarna.

Agents, Landlords & Businesses: We offer 7-day payment terms and can offer a proof of completion report if required for your records.

Cancellations: If you need to shift your booking, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. If it’s shorter than that, we might charge a small fee to cover the gap in our diary.
